Using the LevelOne FCS-3094 camera is easy. First, decide where you want to install it. It can be mounted on the wall or ceiling. Just use the included screw kit for installation. Connect the camera to a power source. You can choose either 12V DC or PoE (IEEE 802.3af) via the Cat.5 cable. This way, you can get both power and data flowing.
Insert a Micro SDHC/SDXC card into the slot for local storage. You can save your surveillance videos right on the card.
When it comes to using the camera, you can access it through the supported browsers on Microsoft Windows 8/7/Vista/XP. There's also free surveillance and CMS software with a 64-channel license for better management.
For different lighting conditions, the camera has a removable IR-cut filter. You can switch it for day and night surveillance. And the WDR feature helps to make sure you get clear images even in very bright or dark places.
Some things to note: Keep the camera in an environment with a temperature between 14 to 122F (-10 to 50C) and humidity between 10 to 85% (non-condensing). Don't expose it to extreme conditions.
For maintenance, clean the lens gently with a soft cloth. Check the connections regularly to make sure they are secure. If you need to reset the camera, just press the reset button. That's about it, and you'll have a reliable surveillance camera up and running.
