The Whirlwind THS 1T is a top - notch talkback/headphone box. It comes with a single momentary switch to manage the microphone output. The THS 1T has a convenient Push to Talk switch, while the THS 1M has a Push to Mute switch. The microphone output offers a passive, direct connection from the input, ensuring the mic stays live on - air even if power is lost. There's also a jack for an optional momentary footswitch to control the mic. It's designed for dynamic mics only. The headphone inputs have balanced left and right inputs on separate female XLR connectors. A single front - panel volume control adjusts both earpieces. There's an additional balanced mono Aux input that equally feeds both ears, with its own volume control. It can drive headphones with impedances from 30 to 600 Ohms to full volume. The unit comes with a 12 VAC power adapter (model # PS12AC1A). Adjust the volume of the left and right earpieces using the single front - panel volume control. The Aux input can be used to add an extra audio source, and you can adjust its volume separately.
