Product Description

The Pro Intercom BP2 is a remarkable beltpack that's like having two BP1s in one compact enclosure. The A and B circuits work independently and can be used at the same time. It shares only the headset amplifier, allowing you to monitor both circuits on a single-muff headset. Each circuit comes with its own volume control, signal button, signal lamp, mic on/off switch, and sidetone control. The two circuits connect to the rear panel XLRs. If you want to loop through to the next station in each circuit, you'll need a Y-cable or an SB1 Splitter Box. Key Features: - You can wear it on your belt or hang it on the wall with its strong belt-clip. - It lets you talk and/or listen to either one or both circuits simultaneously. - It mixes the incoming audio from both circuits into one earphone. - It has a ribbed, extruded aluminum case for durability. - It's plug-in compatible with Clear-Com and other well - known 200 Ohm unbalanced headset intercom systems. Technical Specifications: - Power requirement: 24 - 30VDC, 10 mA quiescent, 30mA max. (with signal lamp lit) - Headphone output: 8 - 4KW acceptable, 200W ideal - Microphone input: 200 - 600W Dynamic - Sidetone rejection: >50dB - Audio bridging impedance: 200W unbalanced - Size: 3.70 x 4.30 x 2.50 in. (93.98 x 109.22 x 63.5 mm.) - Weight: 13.5 oz. (0.383 Kg.)

Using the Pro Intercom BP2 is easy. First, decide if you want to wear it on your belt using the belt - clip or hang it on the wall. Then, connect the circuits to the rear panel XLRs. If you're connecting to other stations in the circuit, don't forget to use a Y - cable or an SB1 Splitter Box. You can adjust the volume, turn the mic on or off, and control the sidetone for each circuit separately. You can talk and listen to either one or both circuits at the same time. When it comes to power, make sure to use a power supply that provides 24 - 30VDC. Be aware that the current consumption is 10 mA when it's idle and can go up to 30mA when the signal lamp is lit. For maintenance, keep the ribbed aluminum case clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it down. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If you're not using it for a long time, store it in a cool, dry place. Also, when you're using headphones, choose ones with an impedance of around 200W for the best performance.
