Product Description
The Vaddio EasyUSB MicPOD I/O Audio Interface Package is a game - changer for live audio conferencing. It comes with one EasyUSB MicPOD IO Interface and four CeilingMICs. The interface uses Vaddio’s SmartMIC technology, a cost - effective way to add live audio conferencing to room designs. It integrates internal DSP and echo cancellation into any manufacturer’s audio mixing system, acting as a bridge between CeilingMICs and professional audio mixers. Each CeilingMIC has an array of three electric condenser microphones forming a 360 - degree pickup pattern. It actively manages the room’s live audio for gain, gating, and echo cancellation, then adjusts and mixes down to a single output. The EasyUSB MicPOD I/O interface can connect up to four CeilingMICs, which means you can technically run 12 microphones with independent echo cancellation and internal DSP. For larger installations, just add more interfaces. This package includes the EasyUSB MicPOD I/O, 18V power supply, 4 white CeilingMIC microphones, related accessories, and installation guides. The product is white, CE and FCC approved, TAA compliant, with dimensions of 8.38' (21.27 cm) in width, 1.72' (4.37 cm) in height, 6' (15.24 cm) in depth, and weighs 1.45 lbs (0.66 kg). It runs on local power, operates at 32 to 104F (0 to 40C), and has a 2 - year warranty with an 18 VDC, 2.75 A power supply.
Using this Vaddio audio package is easy. First, connect the 18V power supply to the EasyUSB MicPOD I/O using the AC cord. Then, connect the CeilingMICs to the interface using the provided cat - 5 cables. Make sure to attach the silicone split strain relief boots to protect the cables. Install the CeilingMICs on the ceiling using the ceiling tile braces, trim ring plates, and mounting screws. When you're setting up for an audio conference, you can use any professional audio mixer to connect with the interface. Remember, each input on the interface can handle three microphones, so you can have a great audio setup with up to 12 microphones. If you need more channels, just add another EasyUSB MicPOD I/O. For maintenance, keep the product in a clean and dry place within the operating temperature range of 32 to 104F (0 to 40C). Check the cables regularly for any signs of damage.
