Using the DBX ZC-6 is straightforward. First, connect it to your ZonePRO device using a CAT5 cable with RJ-45 connectors. You can then use the push-buttons on the remote to adjust the volume up or down as you like. If you need to identify the device, use the DIP switches. When wiring multiple controllers, keep in mind that the maximum cable length changes depending on whether you're using series or parallel wiring. For series wiring, three controllers can handle up to 600 ft, while six controllers are limited to 300 ft. With parallel wiring using the ZC-BOB, you can have up to six controllers at a distance of 1000 ft. Make sure to use a CAT5 or CAT5E cable with the right electrical specifications.
