Product Description

The RDL SF - DN4 is a top - notch digital audio interface. It can convert two stereo digital audio sources into four Dante network audio channels effortlessly. It has the amazing ability to automatically detect a valid input from any of its three input jacks: S/PDIF optical, S/PDIF coaxial, or AES/EBU XLR. Once the input is received, it gets decoded, re - clocked, and then sent to the Dante network. A yellow front - panel LOCK LED will light up when a valid source is received without lock errors. You don't need any special software to configure this module, which is very user - friendly. It's a professional - grade product that delivers studio - quality performance. The SF - DN4 is powered by PoE. A green LED on the front indicates valid PoE power and synchronization to the Dante network. It's housed in a durable, all - metal enclosure. You can use it in free - standing, surface - mounted, or rack - mounted operations. This full - featured SYSFLEX product is made in the U.S.A and is built for continuous duty in tough installations. It offers great flexibility in the design and installation of professional A/V systems. Key Features: Converts two left/right digital audio sources to four Dante network audio signals; Supports multiple input types like AES/EBU or S/PDIF Coaxial or Optical; Accepts input sampling rates from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz; Has selectable Dante sample rates of 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz; Comes with a digital signal lock indicator for valid inputs; Transformer - isolated AES/EBU input; Keeps digital audio sources in the digital domain through the Dante network output; No special software needed for module setup; Has an LED indicator for valid power and network sync; Runs on PoE power (Class 0, IEEE 802.3af); Can be used for SysFlex rack mounting or surface mounting. Technical Specifications: Network Connector: RJ45 with Link and Speed indicators; Digital Audio Ethernet Protocol: Dante; Transmission Rate: 100 Mbps; Input Sample Rates Supported: 32 kHz to 192 kHz; Output (Dante) Sample Rates Supported: 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz (default), 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz; Bit Depth Supported: 24 bits; Inputs (6): 110 ohms AES/EBU XLR, transformer isolated (2); 75 ohms S/PDIF RCA jack (2); S/PDIF optical (2); Indicators (5): Ethernet Link and Speed (2, rear panel); Sync (front panel); Lock (2, front panel); Ambient Operating Environment: 0° C to 50° C; Power Requirement: PoE Class 0, IEEE 802.3af

Using the RDL SF - DN4 is a breeze. First, connect your digital audio sources to one of the three available input jacks - S/PDIF optical, S/PDIF coaxial, or AES/EBU XLR. Once connected, the device will automatically detect the input. You don't need to install any special software to set it up. Just plug it in and it's ready to convert your digital audio sources to Dante network audio channels. The yellow LOCK LED on the front panel will let you know if a valid source is received without any lock errors. And the green LED indicates that it's getting valid PoE power and is synced to the Dante network. When it comes to placement, you can either use it as a free - standing device, mount it on a surface, or install it in a rack. As for maintenance, keep it in an environment where the temperature is between 0° C and 50° C. Make sure it gets the right PoE power as specified (PoE Class 0, IEEE 802.3af). Avoid exposing it to extreme conditions or physical damage. And if you notice any issues with the LEDs or the audio output, double - check your connections and the power supply.
