Product Description

The HellermannTyton CCP-SAP-W is a top - notch Customer Connection Point crafted from UL 94 V - 0 and UV - stable black polycarbonate. It comes with a fully detachable snap - on lid. This connection point has two separate cable access points, sealed with a silicon cable entry kit (cable diameter 4.6 mm - 5.6 mm) to maintain its IP68 rating. A GORE - TEX breather membrane on the lid stops condensation in the closure base. It can be supplied with one SC Simplex or LC Duplex and matching pigtails, offering splice management for two heat - shrink splices. Internal fiber management features keep a 30 mm minimum bend radius and provide storage for excess fiber. Key features include full water - sealing with an IP - 68 (NEMA 6P) rating, making it great for wall or handhole installations. Separate inbound/outbound access points ensure cable sealing and segregation. It's ideal for single - subscriber splice or patch to connect home or outdoor devices. Technical specs: Max Cable Diameter 0.22', Min Cable Diameter 0.18', Connector Type SC - APC, Dimensions (WxDxH) 3.5 x 1.1 x 6.3', 1 Installed Adapter, 1 Installed Pigtail, 2 Splice Quantity, and it's White in color.

Using the HellermannTyton CCP - SAP - W is straightforward. First, decide if you want to use the SC Simplex or LC Duplex option and install the matching pigtails. Make sure to use the silicon cable entry kit to seal the cable access points properly to maintain the IP68 rating. When running the cables through the access points, keep in mind the minimum and maximum cable diameters. When splicing the fibers, use the splice management feature for two heat - shrink splices. And remember to keep the minimum bend radius of 30 mm. As for maintenance, check the GORE - TEX breather membrane regularly to ensure it's working properly and preventing condensation. Also, inspect the snap - on lid for any signs of wear and tear. If you notice any issues with the cable sealing or the overall performance, don't hesitate to replace any damaged parts.
