Product Description
The Eartec EP2LZ E-PAK PRO is an outstanding 2-person wireless communication headset system. It's the most dynamic creation in Eartec's 60-year history. This compact full-duplex transceiver offers hands-free, simultaneous talk. It comes with a second RF module for lightweight wireless headsets, ideal for those who need discreet communication without traditional wired headsets. No base station, tuning, or FCC licensing is required. Just take it out of the box and use it. These lightweight digital transceivers weigh only 2.5 oz and can be easily carried in a pocket or clipped to clothing. Simply insert a charged Li-poly battery (included), turn it on, and pair it with an Eartec wireless headset. All radios in the system automatically connect, allowing up to nine users to talk freely within a 400-yard range. The EPak uses a frequency-hopping wireless protocol to avoid interference. Its encrypted digital transmissions constantly switch channels, enabling multiple systems to work harmoniously in the same place without interfering with other wireless devices. The field-programmable circuitry makes it easy to expand smaller systems. Each new system comes in a padded soft-side storage bag for convenient transport. Key features include a 2-person setup, a mute switch, a two-pin wired headset jack, and optional wired headsets. It also includes 1 main EPak transceiver, Lazer-Pro headsets, rechargeable Li-ion batteries, a multi-port battery charger, and 1 softside case. Technical specs: Weight - 4 lbs, Dimensions - 9 x 9 x 7 in.
Using the Eartec EP2LZ E-PAK PRO is a breeze. First, take the transceiver out of the padded soft - side storage bag. Insert the charged Li - poly battery into the transceiver. Then turn the unit 'ON'. Pair it with one of the Eartec wireless headsets. If you prefer, you can also use the wired headsets by plugging them into the two - pin wired headset jack on the radio chassis. Once paired, all radios in the system will automatically connect, and you can start communicating with other users within a 400 - yard range. When you need to be silent, use the mute switch. For maintenance, make sure to charge the rechargeable Li - ion batteries regularly using the multi - port battery charger. Keep the transceiver and headsets clean. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures or moisture. Since the system doesn't require FCC licensing or tuning, you don't have to worry about those technical aspects. But if you plan to expand the system in the future, it's easy to do thanks to the field - programmable circuitry.
