Product Description

The Pro MSM301 3-Circuit Master Station Module is a great addition to the MS301. It doubles the independent circuits from 3 to 6, offering new circuits D, E, and F. These new circuits have all the functions of the original ones, like program audio insertion, control, and the option to use them as intercom or IFB with program muting or ducking. Connect the two units via the D-Sub connector, and a short cable comes with the MSM301. Each new circuit has 2 XLRs at the back for connecting stations, and you can increase the number of connected stations with an SB1 accessory. Key features include being powered by the attached MS301, only increasing the number of independent circuits without changing the available current. The LED Status Bar shows if the unit gets 24-volt current (green) and the trouble status of circuits (red). There are DIP switches on the rear panel to choose between ducking and muting program audio in IFB mode and to lift the termination circuit of each circuit individually. The MSM301 maintains 200W termination impedance during linking, but different connections may be needed in some cases.

Using the MSM301 is easy. First, connect it to the MS301 using the provided D - Sub cable. Once connected, the MS301 will power the MSM301. The new circuits D, E, and F will then be available for use. You can connect stations to the XLRs on the back of each circuit. If you need more stations, use the SB1 accessory. When using the IFB mode, you can use the DIP switches on the rear panel to choose between ducking and muting the program audio. Also, you can lift the termination circuit of each circuit as needed. As for the LED Status Bar, keep an eye on it. A green light means the unit is getting 24 - volt current, and a red light indicates a problem with a circuit. Maintenance is simple. Keep the unit clean and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. Make sure the connections are tight and free of dirt. If you have any issues, check the connections first and then refer to the manual for further troubleshooting.
