Product Description
The Pro Intercom BP1SL is an upgraded version of the BP1. It allows you to switch between two circuits, but you can only communicate with one circuit at a time. A unique feature is that both signal lamps always work. For example, if you're using circuit A and someone tries to reach you from circuit B, the circuit B signal lamp will light up, and the opposite is also true. The XLR connectors on the back are female, so you'll need a simple Y-cable or an SB1 Splitter box to loop through to the next station, unlike the BP1. Key Features: 1. Connects to two different circuits, but communicates with one at a time. The signal lamp of the non - active circuit remains on. 2. The portable headset station can be worn on the belt or hung on the wall with its strong belt - clip. 3. It has a ribbed, extruded aluminum case, glass - filled nylon end bezels, and an internal support system for the PC board. Technical Specifications: Power requirement: 24 - 30VDC, 10mA quiescent, 30mA max (with signal lamp lit). Headphone output: Acceptable range 8 - 4K Ohm, ideal at 200 Ohm. Microphone input: 200 - 600 Ohm Dynamic; 1.2 - 1.8k Ohm electret. Sidetone rejection: 50dB. Audio bridging impedance: 200W unbalanced. Size: 3.70 x 4.30 x 2.50 in. (93.98 x 109.22 x 63.5 mm). Weight: 13.5oz. (0.383Kg).
Using the Pro Intercom BP1SL is easy. First, connect it to the appropriate circuits using the XLR connectors on the back. You may need a Y - cable or an SB1 Splitter box if you want to loop through to the next station. Then, choose the circuit you want to communicate on. Remember, you can only talk on one circuit at a time, but the signal lamp for the other circuit will let you know if someone is trying to reach you. You can wear it on your belt using the belt - clip or hang it on the wall. When it comes to power, make sure you provide 24 - 30VDC. The headphones you use should be within the 8 - 4K Ohm range, with 200 Ohm being the best. For the microphone, use a 200 - 600 Ohm Dynamic or 1.2 - 1.8k Ohm electret one. Keep the device in a dry and clean place. Avoid dropping it as the case, although sturdy, can be damaged. If you notice any issues, check the power supply and connections first.
