Product Description

The NTI ENVIROMUX-STHSM-E7 Probe-Style Temperature, Humidity, and Dew Point Sensor is a top - notch device suitable for a wide range of applications. It can operate in temperatures from -4 to 185°F (-20 to 85°C) and relative humidity from 0 to 90%. Key features include compatibility with ENVIROMUX - 2D/5D/16D. Its digital output signal makes the cable highly resistant to external influences. It offers excellent temperature accuracy: +/-0.90°F (+/-0.50°C) from -4 to 14°F (-20 to -10°C) and +/-0.72°F (+/-0.40°C) from 14 to 185°F (-10 to 85°C). For humidity, it has an accuracy of +/-3% for 0 to 80% relative humidity and +/-4% for 80 to 90% relative humidity. It supports dew - point measurement. With a length of 7 feet, it comes with an RJ45 coupler to extend the sensor up to 1000 feet (305 m) using CATx cable (minimum 24AWG). It has an MTBF of 4,195,068 hours and is powered by ENVIROMUX - 2D/5D/16D. It also has CE and RoHS regulatory approvals.

Using the NTI ENVIROMUX - STHSM - E7 sensor is quite straightforward. First, connect it to the ENVIROMUX - 2D/5D/16D device as it gets powered from there. You can use the RJ45 coupler to extend the sensor up to 1000 feet if needed. Place the sensor in the area where you want to measure temperature, humidity, or dew point. Just make sure the environment is within the specified temperature range of -4 to 185°F (-20 to 85°C) and relative humidity range of 0 to 90%. As for maintenance, keep the sensor clean and free from any debris. Check the cable regularly for any signs of damage. If you notice any issues with the accuracy or the sensor stops working, refer to the user manual or contact customer support. Also, ensure that the CATx cable used for extension is at least 24AWG to maintain proper functionality.
