Product Description

The Lowell LT2-810-72-BB-VC is a single-unit speaker designed for suspended tile ceilings. It features an 8-inch dual cone driver with a 10 oz. magnet, offering a frequency response of 54Hz - 11.6kHz (±6dB) and 50Hz - 20kHz (±6.6dB), and an average sensitivity of 97.9dB at 1W/1M. With a 25V/70V transformer having taps at .25, .5, 1, 2, 5W, it provides flexible power options. The 0.147 cu.ft. steel backbox has speaker leads exiting through a metal clamp for quick connection. The fine-perforation white grille ensures excellent sound transmission while blending in with ceilings. It also comes with a hand or screwdriver-adjustable volume control and restraint tabs for easy installation. This 2x2 system directly replaces a 2x2 ceiling tile, making it a great choice for ceiling audio.

Using this Lowell speaker is a breeze. First, remove the 2x2 ceiling tile where you want to install the speaker. Then, place the speaker system in the tile opening. The restraint tabs will help hold it in place. Connect the speaker leads through the metal clamp on the backbox to your audio source. You can adjust the volume using the hand or screwdriver - adjustable volume control to get the perfect sound level. When it comes to maintenance, keep the grille clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe off any dust. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they might damage the white powder epoxy finish. If you need to change the power setting, refer to the taps on the 25V/70V transformer. Make sure to turn off the power before making any adjustments to stay safe.
