Using the LevelOne NVR-1204 HUBBLE network video recorder is easy. First, connect your IP cameras to the recorder according to the number of channels you need. Then, use the two LAN ports to separate the camera network from the Internet for better security. You can connect a monitor to the built - in HDMI port to view and control the system without a PC.
For recording, you have several options. You can set up scheduled recording based on your own schedule. If an alarm event is triggered, the recorder will start event recording, including pre - event buffered video. You can also do manual recording by just clicking the mouse.
When it comes to viewing the recorded videos, you can search for them either by time or event. The playback control allows you to move forward or backward at different speeds, pause, or stop the video. You can even create snapshots during playback and crop short video clips for export.
Here are some important notes. Make sure the recorder is placed in an environment with a temperature between 32 to 104F (0 to 40C) and humidity between 10 to 85% RH. The power source should be DC 12V/22W. Also, the recorder supports USB 2.0 ports, so don't use USB 1.1 devices.
For maintenance, keep the recorder clean and dust - free. Check the HDD regularly to ensure there is enough storage space. If you have any issues, refer to the user manual on the Resource CD or contact customer support.
