Product Description

The Elite Core PC12-AM-1.5 is a top-notch 1.5-foot power cable that connects Neutrik PowerCon to an Edison male plug. The PowerCon is a lockable 3-pole AC connector. It has contacts for line, neutral, and premating safety grounds, rated at 20A/250V AC. Color-coded for easy identification, it comes in power-in (blue) and power-out (grey) versions with different keying to prevent intermating. The contacts are designed to prevent arc damage when disconnected under load. Professionally assembled in our Elite Core Audio shop, this cable is perfect for powering various sound and lighting equipment. It's a 300V 12 AWG UL cable, listed with CSA, MSHA, and ROHS. It features a 3-conductor Seoprene heavy-duty black power cord with a 20-amp rating and is made in the USA. Similar to the Stinger AC Power Extension Cable, it's assembled in our shop and also used for powering sound and lighting gear. It has a heavy-duty Hubble 5266EBK 3-prong male AC plug and a heavy-duty Hubble 5269EBK 3-prong female AC plug. The 12/3 SJ listed heavy-duty rubber-coated power cable is UL, CSA, MSHA, and ROHS compliant.

Using this power cable is easy. Just connect the Neutrik PowerCon end to your equipment that has a compatible socket and the Edison male plug to a power source. Make sure to check the power ratings of your devices to ensure they match the 20-amp rating of the cable. When disconnecting, always turn off the power first to avoid any potential arcing. This can help protect both the cable and your equipment. For maintenance, keep the cable clean and dry. Avoid bending it sharply or pulling it forcefully, as this could damage the internal conductors. If you notice any signs of wear, like frayed wires or loose plugs, stop using the cable immediately and replace it. Store the cable in a cool, dry place when not in use to extend its lifespan.
