Using the Chief PAC117 Metal Stud Anchor Kit is quite simple. First, make sure your drywall is at least 0.5 inches (13 mm) thick. Then, select the appropriate mount for your needs, as the weight capacity depends on the mount. The kit comes with 1/4 - 20 screws, 1/4 washers, and heavy - duty toggler anchors. Use these to install large flat - panel TVs on metal studs. When installing, follow the instructions of the specific mount you're using. As for maintenance, keep the kit in a dry place to prevent rusting of the metal parts. Check the screws and anchors regularly for any signs of looseness or damage.
