Product Description

The TOA Electronics SX-200IP IP Interface Module is a great solution for the SX-2000 and N-8000 systems. Install it in the SX-2100AI Audio input unit of the SX-2000 series and connect it to a network (LAN or WAN). Then, using packet audio technology, you can make paging announcements to the SX-2000 system from the N-8000 series stations (N-8600MS and N-8610RM). It has a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX network interface with automatic negotiation and supports multiple network protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, etc. The voice sampling frequency can be set to 16 kHz, 8 kHz (software - controllable), and 48 kHz for the SX-2000 system only. With 16 - bit quantifying and sub - band ADPCM voice encoding, it offers reliable voice transmission. It also has features like voice packet loss recovery through silence insertion and adjustable audio delay time. The module has an operation indicator (RUN), can work in humidity up to 90%RH (no condensation), and comes with a pre - coated steel plate panel in black with 30% gloss. It measures 35 (W) x 119.5 (H) x 178.4 (D) mm (1.38” x 4.7” x 7.02”) and weighs 150 g (0.33 lb).

To use the TOA Electronics SX-200IP IP Interface Module, first install it in the SX-2100AI Audio input unit of the SX-2000 series. Then connect it to your network, either a LAN or a WAN. After that, you can start making paging announcements from the N-8000 series stations to the SX-2000 system. When setting up, you can adjust the voice sampling frequency and audio delay time on the software according to your needs. Make sure the humidity in the operating environment is 90%RH or less to avoid condensation. For maintenance, keep the module clean and check the network connections regularly. If you notice any issues with the operation indicator (RUN), it might be a sign of a problem, so check the system settings and connections.
