The Speco ZIPK8T2 is an outstanding 8-channel H.265 NVR kit featuring 6 outdoor IR 5MP IP cameras and 2TB of storage. It comes with EZ Wizard for easy network and system setup. EZ Search allows you to find events from thumbnails, and EZ Record helps you set recording resolutions and types. You can copy what you're playing onto a USB flash drive with EZ Copy. Just scan a QR code with the app for EZ App Setup and view your cameras on your mobile device. It offers up to 5MP resolution for live view, recording, and playback. With Plug & Play, you get video automatically via the PoE ports without any setup. It supports H.265 and H.264 streams and has a QR code-based network setup for easy remote access. There's a free US-based DDNS service, 4K monitor output, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The built-in S.M.A.R.T technology helps monitor the HDD. You can remotely monitor via PC, Mac, and mobile apps. It has a 2.8mm wide angle lens, true Day/Night operation with an IR cut filter, and an IR range up to 100ft. It's IP66 compliant and weather resistant, and includes a Multi SD card slot up to 128GB.
Using the Speco ZIPK8T2 is a breeze. First, set up the system with the EZ Wizard. This will help you quickly get the network and system up and running. When you want to find specific events, use the EZ Search feature by looking through the thumbnails. To set your recording preferences, use the EZ Record option. If you want to save what you're watching, just use EZ Copy to transfer it to a USB flash drive. For mobile viewing, scan the QR code with the app. When connecting the cameras, take advantage of the Plug & Play feature via the PoE ports. For remote access, set up the network using the QR code and use the free US-based DDNS service. When it comes to maintenance, keep the cameras clean and make sure they are in a dry environment as they are IP66 compliant but still need proper care. Check the HDD regularly as the built-in S.M.A.R.T technology helps monitor its status. Also, make sure to keep the software updated for the best performance. When using the cameras, be aware of the minimum illumination requirements and the operating temperature and humidity ranges.
