Using the Lowell ACS - 1505 - SW - SD power strip is easy. First, make sure the on/off switch is off. Plug the NEMA 5 - 15P plug of the detachable 6 - foot cord into a power outlet. Then, you can plug your devices into the five 15A NEMA outlets. Flip the on/off rocker switch to turn on the power strip and start using your devices. When it comes to safety, don't overload the power strip. The total amperage of the devices you plug in should not exceed 15A. If the circuit breaker trips, turn off the power strip, unplug some devices, and then reset the breaker. For maintenance, keep the power strip clean. You can use a dry cloth to wipe the surface.
