Product Description

The Sonifex DHY-04 is an upgraded version of the world's top-performing DHY-03 telephone hybrid. It offers auto-sensing for combined analogue and AES/EBU inputs and outputs. The front panel has speed dial buttons and a redial button. With an Ethernet interface, you can access configuration and internal settings via a web browser. It accepts AES/EBU sample rates up to 24 bit/96kHz and has configurable outputs. It also supports remote dialling, line hold control, and can generate SNMP Traps. The DTMF dial tone recognition allows journalists to access the unit remotely. It has excellent line balance rejection, ensuring high - quality audio calls. Technical specifications cover a wide range of audio I/O parameters, connection types, and power supply details.

Using the Sonifex DHY - 04 is easy. First, connect your audio sources to the appropriate inputs, like using the XLR 3 - pin female for mic/line/AES - EBU input. You can choose between mic and line modes with the push - button. Connect the telephone line to the RJ11 6/4 socket and the handset to the other RJ11 6/4 socket. For remote access and configuration, use the Ethernet RJ45 socket to connect to your network and access the web browser GUI. When making calls, you can use the four front - panel speed - dial buttons to quickly reach preset numbers, or use the redial button to call the last number again. Remember to set the input and output level gain ranges using the 3 - position front - panel switch according to your needs. Keep the unit in a dry and cool place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity. Regularly check the connections to make sure they are secure. If there are any issues, refer to the detailed technical specifications for troubleshooting.
