Product Description

The Platinum Tools TPS200C is an incredibly user - friendly, pocket - sized PoE++ tester. It can handle all kinds of PoE setups, supporting up to 56 volts and 280 watts of power. Powered by the PoE circuit, no batteries are needed. You can use it in line with an actual PoE device to measure current flow or switch to Powered Device (PD) Simulation mode to find out the maximum power available from the PoE power source. Key features include measuring DC voltage from 3.5 to 56 volts and power up to 280 watts, testing up to 4 - pair PoE (IEEE 802.3bt Type 3). You can test power inline with a PoE device or use the PD Simulation mode before attaching a powered device. The bright, scrolling OLED display is easy to read. It can test PoE on active data cables without disrupting data flow. With automatic mode and polarity detection, it's very convenient. The tester has dual RJ45 ports for PoE testing and dual 2.1x5.5mm DC jacks for testing DC power supplies, and comes with a 2.1x5.5mm DC patch cable. It can also test DC Power Supplies and Battery Backups.

Using the Platinum Tools TPS200C is a breeze. To measure current flow, just connect it in line with an actual PoE device. If you want to know the maximum power available from the PoE source, switch to the Powered Device (PD) Simulation mode. When using the tester on active data cables, don't worry about interrupting the data flow. The automatic mode and polarity detection will do the work for you. Make sure to handle the tester gently as it's a precision device. Keep it in a dry place and away from extreme temperatures. Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth if it gets dirty. When testing DC power supplies or battery backups, use the dual 2.1x5.5mm DC jacks and the included patch cable. Always follow the correct connection steps to ensure accurate results.
