The Platinum Tools ezEX48 Connector is specially crafted for larger cables and conductors. It features a unique integrated Hi-Lo stagger load bar, enabling larger conductors to pass through the front end of the connector. This makes it a breeze to verify the wiring sequence before termination. Typically used with Cat6A, it can be terminated with the EXO Crimp Frame and EXO-EX Die (PLAT-100061C). In modern networks, twisted pair cables require more speed and bandwidth. To meet these needs, the size of Cat5e/6/6A cables has increased. The outer diameter of the cable and the insulation diameter of the conductors are larger and vary by manufacturer, posing a challenge to cable and connector compatibility.
