Product Description

The Platinum Tools 105025 ezEX48 ezEX - RJ45 Connectors come in a pack of 500. These connectors are specially designed for larger cables and conductors. They feature a unique integrated Hi - Lo stagger load bar, which lets bigger conductors pass through the front end of the connector. This makes it a breeze to check the wiring sequence before termination. Usually used with Cat6A, they are terminated with an EXO Crimp Frame and EXO - EX Die (PLAT - 100061C). In modern networks, twisted pair cables need more speed and bandwidth. Cat5e/6/6A cables have grown in size, with larger outer and conductor insulation diameters that vary by manufacturer, making cable - connector compatibility tough. The patented ezEX - RJ45 Termination System is the answer, offering better cable - to - connector compatibility for higher performance. Key features include a simple one - piece/pass - through design (no bars or liners), Hi - Lo stagger for better conductor isolation, compliance with 5e/6/6A standards, an insulation diameter (conductor) ranging from .043” to .048” (1.09 - 1.22mm), a max outer diameter of .290” (7.36mm), a 10 - Gigabit rating for great performance, suitability for solid or stranded 22 - 24 AWG, compliance with FCC, RoHS 2, and UL, and they are made in the USA.

Using these Platinum Tools ezEX48 ezEX - RJ45 Connectors is easy. First, make sure your cable is suitable. The connectors work well with Cat5e/6/6A cables. The outer diameter of the cable should be no more than .290” (7.36mm), and the conductor insulation diameter should be between .043” and .048” (1.09 - 1.22mm). Insert the cable through the front end of the connector. Thanks to the Hi - Lo stagger load bar, you can easily see and check the wiring sequence before you terminate it. Then, use the EXO Crimp Frame and EXO - EX Die (PLAT - 100061C) to terminate the connector. When handling the connectors, be careful not to damage the delicate parts. Keep them in a dry and clean place to avoid corrosion. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, replace the connectors immediately to ensure good network performance. These connectors are FCC, RoHS 2, and UL compliant, so you can use them with confidence in your network setup.
