Product Description

The HellermannTyton CCP-SAA-W is a top - notch Customer Connection Point. Crafted from UL 94 V - 0 and UV - stable black polycarbonate, it comes with a fully detachable snap - on lid. This connection point features two separate cable access points sealed with a silicon cable entry kit (for cables with a diameter ranging from 4.6 mm to 5.6 mm), maintaining an excellent IP68 rating. A GORE - TEX breather membrane on the lid prevents condensation at the base. It can be supplied with one SC Simplex or LC Duplex and matching pigtails, and offers splice management for two heat - shrink splices. Internal fiber management ensures a 30 mm minimum bend radius and provides storage for excess fiber. Key features include full water - sealing (IP - 68, NEMA 6P) for wall or handhole use, separate inbound/outbound access for cable sealing and segregation, and single - subscriber splice or patch options to connect home or outdoor devices. Technical specs: Max cable diameter 0.22', min cable diameter 0.18', connector type SC - APC, dimensions 3.5 x 1.1 x 6.3', 1 installed adapter, 0 pigtails installed, 2 splices, and it's white in color.

Using the HellermannTyton CCP - SAA - W is straightforward. First, identify the inbound and outbound cables and insert them through the separate access points. Make sure the cables' diameters are within the 4.6 mm - 5.6 mm range. Then, use the silicon cable entry kit to seal the cables properly. If you're using splices, manage them within the unit according to the splice management capacity. For fiber storage, ensure the minimum 30 mm bend radius to protect the fibers. When installing, it can be used in wall or handhole setups. As for maintenance, regularly check the GORE - TEX breather membrane on the lid. If it's damaged, replace it to prevent condensation. Also, keep an eye on the cable seals and replace them if they show signs of wear. Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures or physical impacts that could damage the polycarbonate body.
