Product Description
The Elite Core PC12-TMA-6 is a 6-foot power cable that connects a Neutrik Powercon True1 male to a Powercon A. PowerCon is a lockable 3-pole AC connector with line, neutral, and premating safety ground contacts. Rated at 20A/250V AC, it comes in color-coded power-in (blue) and power-out (grey) versions with different keying to prevent intermating. The contacts are designed to prevent arcing damage when disconnected under load. Professionally assembled in our Elite Core Audio shop, this cable is ideal for powering various sound and lighting equipment. It features a 300V 12 AWG UL, CSA, MSHA, and ROHS-listed 3-conductor Seoprene heavy-duty black power cord with a 20-amp rating and is made in the USA. Also, the Stinger AC Power Extension Cable, assembled in the same shop, has a Heavy Duty Hubble 5266EBK 3-prong male AC plug, a Heavy Duty Hubble 5269EBK 3-prong female AC plug, and a 12/3 SJ listed heavy-duty rubber-coated power cable that is UL, CSA, MSHA, and ROHS compliant.
Using this power cable is easy. First, identify the male and female ends. The male end is the Neutrik Powercon True1, and the female end is the Powercon A. Connect the male end to the power source and the female end to your sound or lighting equipment. Make sure to turn off the power before connecting or disconnecting the cable to avoid any electrical hazards. When it comes to maintenance, keep the cable clean and dry. Avoid bending the cable sharply or placing heavy objects on it, as this can damage the internal conductors. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, such as frayed wires or loose plugs, stop using the cable immediately and replace it. Also, store the cable in a cool, dry place when not in use to extend its lifespan.
